EXPO 2016 Passport

Being an EXPO tradition, passports are distributed to children at the beginning of the exposition. This passport encourages children to visit all country gardens as once they visit the garden, they are awarded with a country stamp. Depending on the expo, children can get rewards once they collect all country stamps.

My Contributions

I was in charge of developing the whole project. My tasks included the research and development, content creation and design.

The Concept

The idea behind the concept of the passport is to inform and encourage children to engage towards a green world, through the use of short key messages. With every stamp which the child collects, a feeling of reward  would be triggered, thus creating a constructive association with the green message on the page. The messages which I chose in the passport consist of the essential keywords and concepts that support the ideology of green and EXPO 2016 Antalya. With the exception of the cover and the first two pages of the passport, which were designed in similarity with the Turkish passport, the passport is made up of 5 sections: introduction, biodiversity, history, sustainability and green cities.

The Design

Corporate colors and fonts were used in throughout the design elements. Being the key brand visual, the flower of life was overlayed in different stylisations over the pictures. All pictures belong to the EXPO 2016 Antalya event.
